Description

Current environment: Using GitHub Copilot Pro in VS2026 IDE.

Current Copilot plan
Active subscription: Copilot Pro
Yearly payment: $100.00
Next payment: Mar 29, 2026

Since last month, Premium requests are being counted even though I'm only using “questions” with “GPT-5 mini 0x”.

Last month's status
Billed premium requests: $0.20
Included premium requests consumed: 300 of 300 included

Usage breakdown
Model Included requests Billed requests Gross amount Billed amount
GPT-5.2-Codex 254 0 $10.16 $0.00
Claude Opus 4.6 27 0 $1.08 $0.00
Claude Sonnet 4.5 19 5 $0.96 $0.20

This month
Billed premium requests: $0.00
Included premium requests consumed: 17 of 300 included

Usage breakdown
Model
Included requests Billed requests Gross amount Billed amount
Claude Sonnet 4.5 16 0 $0.64 $0.00
GPT-5.3-Codex 1 0 $0.04 $0.00

Premium count is already at 17.

Why are Claude Sonnet 4.5 and GPT-5.3-Codex being counted when using “GPT-5 mini 0x”?

Isn't GPT-5 mini 0x supposed to be free under Pro?

Could some setting be causing it to count towards the Premium limit?

Any clarification would be appreciated.
