Description

On WSL, if a repository is deleted (from the file system) then it can't be removed from the projects list in the app.

Verified by having a project I couldn't delete and then recreated the directory the repository was in (with a simple "mkdir") and then I could remove the project fine.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on WSL: delete a repository directory from the filesystem, then try removing its project from the app. Compare that with recreating the directory using mkdir; done means a deleted repository can be removed from the projects list without recreating its path. No files or tests are named in the issue.
