Description

I am getting flashbanged whenever I re-focus on the app.

Doesn't happen every time, but occasionally when I come back to this app after focusing on a different monitor, the entire canvas goes completely white (and I'm in dark mode). Not a dealbreaker, just not the nicest user experience.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on Arch Linux with app version 1.1.20, GitHub theme, dark mode, and the /chat path; switch focus to another monitor and return to the app. Done means the canvas no longer intermittently turns completely white when the app regains focus.
