Description

Short summary

Command descriptions in slash-command are truncated with no way to view full text

Affected version or release

v1.1.19

Installation context

Windows, Repo independent

What happened?

The slash-command / skill preview list truncates the full description and there is no way to expand the description.

Steps to reproduce
  1. open a new session
  2. type /spawn to open the preview popup of available commands/skills
  3. view "spawn" description in the command / skill preview popup list
  4. notice, that the skill description is truncated.
Expected behavior

I would like to have the option to read the full description. The desired result may be achieved in many ways, for example:

  1. a tooltip on the list-item with the full description
  2. auto-expansion of the currently selected list-item (maybe debounced)
  3. a tootlip on the selected skill with it's full description

Research direction

Reproduce the issue by opening a new session and typing /spawn on Windows, then inspect the slash-command and skill preview popup UI. Done means the full description for an item such as “spawn” can be read through a selected interaction, tooltip, or another implemented expansion behavior.
