Look at first I thought it was actually really great product, potentially something I could use instead of ClaudeCode for my daily surface.. but I realise there is a HUGE disconnect between copilot/agent sessions across EVERY single surface, between CLI and Desktop App, to the GH App, to the GH Web UI, it's like they are all different and you can't really seem to continue a session or conversation effectively across multiple surfaces without the others dropping off or just not appearing at all..

Very very confusing, and for this it's clear why Anthropic is the undefeated world leader in absolute sheer amazing incredibly talented UI/UX and AI team that none will rival sadly..

It was so promising and I love the native GH PR integration plus the CP app itself is reasonably well polished, albeit slightly confusing with the "git repo" projects and then "standalone" folder projects and then chats, but ...

Anyway, I still will continue trying to adopt as my primary tool and see if it evolves over the course of time to make it more intuitive and user friendly so I can actually consider scaling back from spending my day with CC desktop app instead..

Start by reproducing the reported session and conversation gaps from the /chat path across the CLI, Desktop App, GitHub App, and GitHub Web UI on macOS 26.6.2 using app version 1.1.16. Done would mean users can continue the same session across these surfaces without conversations disappearing or becoming disconnected.
