Description
The new default of "everything happens in a worktree" that apparently can't be disabled in the GUI (just in the CLI interface) is kinda awful. Most of the time I don't want to work in a worktree!

Research direction
No file or test is named. Reproduce the worktree default in the GUI on the reported app version and compare it with the existing CLI option; done means the GUI provides an equivalent way to disable the default and the behavior is verified on the affected flow.
