Description

Description

When viewing an automation, opening a session from the left navigation in a new window opens the current automation view rather than the selected session.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open an automation in the GitHub Copilot app.
  2. Right-click a session in the left navigation.
  3. Select Open in new window.

Expected behavior

The new window opens the session that was selected in the left navigation.

Actual behavior

The new window opens the automation currently displayed in the original window.

Research direction

Reproduce the behavior in the GitHub Copilot app by opening an automation, then using Open in new window on a session in the left navigation. Trace the new-window navigation from that interaction; done means the new window shows the selected session rather than the currently displayed automation.
