Description
Short summary
Azure DevOps Canvas "New session" opens empty canvas picker
Affected version or release
v1.1.14
Installation context
Installed on Windows 11 pro desktop
What happened?
Azure DevOps Canvas "New session" opens empty canvas picker
This also occurs for all installed canvas.
Steps to reproduce
Azure DevOps Canvas is installed and appears under Extensions → Canvas → Installed.
Clicking New session opens the "Pick a canvas..." dialog, but it displays "No results found."
However, /create-canvas successfully starts an Azure DevOps canvas session, so the plugin and Canvas runtime are working.
Expected behavior
Clicking New session for Azure DevOps should directly start an Azure DevOps canvas session rather than opening an empty generic canvas picker.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue on Windows 11 with Azure DevOps Canvas installed, comparing the New session flow with /create-canvas. Trace how the installed Canvas extension is discovered by the generic picker and why it returns no results. Done means New session directly starts Azure DevOps Canvas, while the existing command continues to work.
