Description

Chats that are not associated with any repo have a blank sidebar. In fact, that sidebar should be populated with things like side chats, insights, and canvas. Just because it's not associated with a repo doesn't mean it's not a first-class agent task.

Research direction

Start at the /chat view and inspect how the sidebar is rendered for chats without a repository, comparing it with a repository-associated chat. Done means repo-less chats show the applicable side chats, insights, and canvas entries instead of a blank sidebar, with coverage for this case.
