Description

My desktop has bunch of repos, but I may work from desktop itself. In such case, there should be a way to disable git/worktrees altogether and work on currently active files. Currently, I have to disable use worktree individually on every repo for every new session.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the desktop session settings and the existing per-repository worktree preference, then trace how active files are selected. Done means a single setting disables Git/worktrees for new sessions while allowing work on the currently active files.
