Description
Hardware for agent control is landing as niche market. Keyboards such as [Creator Micro 2](https://worklouder.cc/creator-micro-2) offers a different way to manage our work.
I see two types of integrations:
1. Keyboard shortcut integration: Allows users to use these kind of hardware to control things like the Mode, Thinking Effort and others using a physical device.
2. Software Integration: Software Vendors such as GitHub partners with Hardware Vendors to create deeper integrations.
Focusing on keyboard shortcuts, there is currently a limited amount of keyboard shortcuts that can we be used to active capabilities in GitHub. I would be great to have some keyboard shortcuts to, thinking for a few:
- Change model
- Change thinking effot
- Change agent
- Start voice input (when Copilot App enables voice support)
- Open Canvases
Shortcuts can enable cool new ways to integrate hardware into the Copilot App Experience.

Research direction
Start at the Copilot app's /chat experience on macOS and review how keyboard shortcuts are currently exposed; the issue names no source files or tests. Confirm the supported actions and shortcut behavior for changing the model, thinking effort, agent, voice input, and Canvases, with a documented scope and acceptance criteria before implementation.
