Description
when a session gets very large, perhaps as an orchestrator session running a long job, it can (and frequently does) cause the gitbug copilot app to lock up completely. The workaround is simply to hand off to another session, but this should have session archiving so should be unnecessary. might want to take a look into this as it locks up all of Github Copilot, not just the session.

Research direction
Start at the /chat path and reproduce the lockup with a very large session, such as a long-running orchestrator job, on the reported Windows environment. Investigate the conditions that make the whole app unresponsive and verify that large sessions no longer lock up the app and can be handed off or archived as intended.
