Description
Smooth handoffs between machines
One of the biggest challenges I face with Copilot CLI, and now the Copilot App, is when I start a session from one device and then transition to working from a different device. For example, when I am working from my home office and then commute to work (or vice versa).
I expected the Copilot App to have a smooth experience for this, allowing me to smoothly hand off a session from one machine to another -- especially if I've pushed the worktree/branch to my remote, but I so far have not found a good experience for this.

Research direction
Start in the Copilot App's /chat experience using version 1.0.25 and reproduce a session started on one machine and continued on another. The issue does not name files, entry points, or tests, and completion criteria for a smooth handoff are not defined; clarify the expected workflow before implementation.
