I want control over which branch my session is created with! When it's a pre-existing branch, I tried selecting it from the dropdown menu, but when I navigate to the worktree folder via terminal, I see that the local branch name is still the pretedermined [alias]-[random]-[words]. This seems like a bug. Separately, as a feature request, it would be incredible to have control upon the worktree's local branch name even if the branch is not pre-existing/not able to be selected from the dropdown UX menu when creating a new session. Last time I asked GHCP to rename the local branch or specify what it should be, the local branch still had the preset name, and remote was set to track to my preferred name, which ended up being extra confusing.

Research direction
No source files or tests are named. Start by reproducing session creation from the dropdown with an existing branch, then inspect the session and worktree creation flow and compare the selected branch with the local branch shown in the terminal. Done means the selected existing branch is preserved and a new session can accept a user-chosen local branch name without confusing remote tracking.
