Description
**Mood:** 😔
**Category:** Requests and ideas
The "Changes" panel lacks basic features, e.g.:
- Can't open a file in editor by double-clicking on it from the files tree
- Can't right-click on a file in the tree to do actions (e.g. open the parent folder in Explorer)
- Double-clicking on a word in the git diff viewer doesn't select the word (it does nothing)
- The options for the tree are only "Committed", "Uncommitted", and "Last", it's missing "All" to just see the whole current state, which is the most useful thing while iterating.

Research direction
Start by locating the Changes panel, its files tree, and its diff viewer; the issue names no file or test paths. Treat the listed interactions and the missing “All” view as separate acceptance checks, and confirm the intended behavior before coding.
