Description

**Mood:** 😔
**Category:** General

I'm used to opening copilot in the same folder as my repo. With this, its just confusing me for some reason. I can accept I'm just not getting it, but... I'm just not getting it. The application itself is fantasic, but these buried copies of my repos its actualy working on and having to traverse those folders is... not great.

Research direction

The report describes confusion about repository locations and asks for a more familiar workflow, but names no file, test, or entry point. Start by clarifying the intended repository-opening behavior and where working copies are managed. Done would require an agreed product direction and validation that the workflow is no longer confusing.
