Hackathons end too early, secure them with funds

Description
I understand why hackathons last a limited time: The organizers often cannot secure additional funds to pay for extra projects after the end of a hackathon.
I propose to create a shared "insurance" funds of GitCoin projects and sponsors to insure organizers for projects delayed after the end of a hackathon or recurring hackathons.
