changing to custom avatar PNG doesn't persist

**Describe the bug**
Changing the avatar to a custom png doesn't persist

**To Reproduce**

- Go to while on https://gitcoin.co/[username]
- Click "Update" inside the avata circle left of screen
- Click "My avatar" tab
- Choose a PNG
- The avatar changes in the top-right corner, and a green confirmation banner appears.
- Click "Profile" to go back to the profile page
- The avatar is gone, and it's back to preset

**Expected behavior**

Avatar change should persist
