Description

Hello! Is it possible to make a button on the toolbar with dual functionality?

  1. If nothing on the page is selected, clicking the button saves the entire page.
  2. If there is a selection on the page, the button understands this itself and when you click on it, only the selected part is saved.

This would greatly increase the speed of using the add-on, and improve the usability.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the toolbar action and the existing page-saving flow, then determine how page selection is detected; done means one button saves the whole page when nothing is selected and only the selection when content is selected.
