Research direction

Start by locating where NetCDF mesh datasets are loaded or where their z-axis is interpreted. Check the handling of density, strain, and lithology coordinates against the stated base-at-0 m and top-at-Lz orientation, then verify that the resulting mesh visualization uses the corrected axis direction.
