Maintainer
  • Would you like to be the maintainer for this package?
Why should this be included in the repository?

While similar to kitty: GPU Accelerated, customizable, image support, multiplexing, etc...

Wexterm stands out by:

Built with Rust
Supports SSH session persistence natively (with a little configuration) unlike kitty.
Configuration scripts are done via lua and I'd rather not have to translate my entire config to something else.
Extensive and far more readable online documentation.

Are we allowed to redistribute it?

MIT, OFL-1.1

What kind of user will use this package, and how many users do you think will use this package?

Power users, developers, terminal enthusiasts, it's a fairly popular terminal emulator

Read the WezTerm project documentation at wezfurlong.org/wezterm/ and determine the packaging, build, and redistribution requirements.
