Description
Problem Statement
My SDK never got configured with a release value and that is causing some problems, such as release adoption is not working, or issues are not regressing (marked it as resolved in a previous release).

Solution Brainstorm
We have issue alerts that can be made for checking on event properties (does not allow release value) but having a banner for something like this would feel more appropriate. Project level banners or notifications (checkbox in settings?) that notify me when incoming events release values are not set properly, would help me fix the problem.

Research direction
Start in the project Settings area and review how incoming event properties and project-level notifications are currently surfaced. The issue names no files, tests, or implementation entry point; done would require a decided design and a way to alert customers when incoming events lack release data.
