Explore - Need ability to compare with last period

### Problem Statement

looking for the Previous Period functionality from Discover but then on the trace explorer page.

Customer is getting a lot of value out of the weekly usage patterns of their users. Customers use their website more on weekdays so there is always a spike on Monday. So it’s not useful for them to see that response time increased from Friday, what I want to see is did it increase compared to last Monday, or last month even.

### Solution Brainstorm

Have an option to compare to last Week or Month.
Longer data retention already solved for the length, but it's still not possible to easily layover the previous period.

Start with the Explore trace explorer and review how Discover implements its Previous Period functionality. Define the behavior for comparing the current view with the previous week or month, including the overlay presentation. Done means users can select a prior period and compare it with the current trace data.
