### Steps to Reproduce

1. I'm doing a fresh install of sentry on a new vps (8 vCPU, 24 GB RAM, 300GB SSD) (Contabo Cloud VPS 8)
( I was coming from an ancient sentry version 9.1.2 :)

2. after installation all works, except resource usage (CPU) is very high, while event insert rate is virtually zero.
(clean installation, no migration)

dedicated vps for sentry (only sentry dockers run on it)

docker compose up --wait takes multiple minutes to start

### Expected Result

Expected: virtual zero cpu usage, as there is nothing to do..

### Actual Result

all 8 cpus, doing 20-30 % each.
load average: 9 to 10 (expected 1-2)
