New updates cause no input box for new content

I updated today to the most recent version, and now my nextgen editor displays NO content when I try to create new pages.

Reproduce the missing input box in the nextgen editor after updating to the latest version, then trace the admin editor entry point and compare the new-page path with an existing page. Done means new pages render an input box and allow content entry without regressions.
