After recent update, cannot edit Pages from Admin anymore - HTTP 500 Error

Description
We recently did a step update from 1.7.12 (or .11) to 1.7.13 and updated the plugins.
However, now whenever we try to edit pages from the admin/pages (either by clicking on a page or right clicking ... and selecting the Edit option) we get a HTTP 500 error.
The website itself is working properly. It is just the admin editing of pages that seems broken. We were not having this issue before the update to 1.7.13.
