scripting-plugin: wait for layout to finish

Hi, I'm trying to use the scripting plugin to run a layout, and want to print the node positions once it's finished.

Unfortunately the runLayout (and run_layout) function seem to run asynchronously, leading in the print being done before the layout is completed.

Is there anyway to get the call to run synchronously?
