Description
I would like to put a high-resolution organisation logo in the header in order to make the logo look good on high-resolution displays, such as Mac and smartphone. In the settings I select 'Show the logo in header' and I upload the logo with a 2024x672 pixel size. The logo is now displayed full size in the header without a height restriction. I read that this was a deliberate choice based on user wishes, see issue #4720. The solution described here is to upload a low-res picture, but this makes the logo look very pixelated on high-resolution displays (see low-res examples below in comparison with a high-res example from another website). I think that with the current wide-spread use of high resolution displays it would be better to re-introduce the height restriction so high-resolution logo's can again be used in the header.

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named in the issue. Start by locating the header logo rendering and the setting for showing the logo, then compare the current behavior with issue #4720; done means high-resolution logos display in the header with an appropriate height restriction without degrading lower-resolution logos.
