Description
I normally just leave Adium and Skype running all day anyways... but for those times when I'm lazy and closed them, or want to reboot my Mac and run the 'Back' script, I should really check if the Applications are running, and if not, start them first (or, for 'Offline', consider quitting the Apps).

Research direction
No file or test is named in the issue; begin by locating the existing “Back” and “Offline” scripts and their application-status handling. Confirm the desired behavior for Adium and Skype: start them before “Back” when absent, and decide whether “Offline” should quit them; done means both flows handle closed apps consistently.
