Description
Following a guide like [Installing Debian on an Apple Xserve](https://benpettis.com/projects/mastodon/debian-xserve/), I'd like to install Linux on at least one of the two Xeon Xserves. I could have a dual-boot setup, even (maybe), with a couple of SSDs...
It looks like it isn't that big a lift to get Linux running on one of these. But there might be some quirks to the way EFI works (like 32 vs 64-bit, and what kind of bootloaders the Xserve looks for). See also, [Debian Stretch guide](https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Apple/Xserve/1-1).

Research direction
Start with the linked Installing Debian on an Apple Xserve guide and the Debian Stretch Xserve guide. Check the Xserve's EFI mode and bootloader requirements, then document or complete an installation that boots Linux on at least one Xeon Xserve, with dual-boot feasibility noted if tested.
