Description
I have two OEM battery packs for the 3400c, model M3654.
They are 14.4V Li-Ion, with 12x 17670 cells. Apparently some have been successfully refurbished by Chans Battery up in Canada—re-celling requires breaking the sonic welded plastic case, and resetting the battery management board inside the battery, since it will cut off power if the cells go to 0V (or if they're disconnected).
I will email Chans and see what they say...
