Description

Currently the two paddles (controllers) that came with the Apple II are not working, because pin 13 (IIRC) broke off on the connector.

Games like Breakout require the paddles to function, so it's a little sad having a flaky/broken connection when trying to play old games :)

Research direction

The issue concerns the Apple II paddles and identifies a broken connector pin, with photos showing the hardware. Inspect the connector and paddle connection first, then verify the repair by testing a game such as Breakout. Done means both paddles work reliably without a flaky connection.
