Description

i there are multiple options for powering this unit (pcie 6pin, dc barrel), which is nice

one feature i do suggest for a faster and more convenient install: putting the pcie 6 pin connector on the pcie bridge to both gpu and pi4gpu card using different connectors, like 8 pin pcie, or eps12v, or atx12vo?
just so theres cables to deal with when swapping pi4gpu card and you have more modularity power wise.

edit: you can even add the dc barrel jack on the pcie base board, so you have a extra option for io on the pi4gpu io plate. ;)

Research direction

Review the project's PCIe bridge, GPU and Pi4GPU card design to understand the current power connections. Decide whether the proposed PCIe 6-pin, modular connector, and DC barrel jack changes are feasible and specify the intended connector placement and wiring. Done means the power design is resolved clearly enough to implement.
