Description
The [UPS8 series UPS I have](https://www.lowellmfg.com/product/ups8-800-line-interactive-ups-800va-720w/) has an SNMP card installed:
> The UPS is equipped with intelligent slot perfect for either SNMP or Dry Contact/Relay card. When installing
either SNMP or Dry Contact/Relay card in the UPS, it will provide advanced communication and monitoring
options.
I may be able to get more information out of the UPS (and more control through NUT) using SNMP versus USB/serial.
