Find the perfect mini rack 3.5" HDD mounting solution

Two 3.5" hard drives fit _very nicely_ in a 1U 10" rack space:


I would _love_ to have a solution that lets me mount two 3.5" hard drives side by side. Ideally:

- The drives would slide in from the front
- There would be a backplane or two connections physically mounted into a slots the hard drives would slide into
- There would be a power solution like either a 12V barrel jack or minimally a SATA power header for power input
- Failing that, you could adapt a SATA + power to USB adapter in each slot

ICY DOCK makes a few 2.5" multi-drive bays that break out each bay into a SATA port, and has one shared SATA power input (see issue #10 for photos of that), but I haven't seen a single or dual bay adapter for 3.5" drives that would work in a mini rack.

Start by reviewing the requirements in this issue and the photos referenced from issue #10. Determine whether an existing single- or dual-bay 3.5-inch solution meets the mini-rack dimensions and connection needs. Done means documenting or producing a workable side-by-side mounting solution with front loading and power or adapter connections.
