Description

I made this mini-rack a few months ago using four Drönjöns letter trays from IKEA, which are now listed at $14.99 for a pair. I mounted the bottom tray with the opening facing forwards, while I mounted the other three with the opening facing backwards. I used some knobs from Billy bookcase doors for the feet, screwing them directly into the bottom corners. This allows the Ethernet cables to pass from behind the rack to the switch, which is installed in the bottom tray. The other three trays contain some old external hard drives, a Raspberry Pi, a USB hub, a Wi-Fi router and an industrial power supply. The switch and the industrial power supply are connected to a UPS which is not shown in the picture.
