DC PDU 5V USB Rail

I recently bought the [geeekpi DC USB PDU](https://a.co/d/3LzzP54) for my mini rack and it seems like an excellent set of components. Big picture, it provides 5V power over usb from a 6-24VDC rail, and supports the 5V5A spec that Rasberry Pi and Ubiquiti keep using. The built in monitoring display is nice, and shows voltage within 5V+/-5% alongside mA current. It appears to work with [2U vertical brackets](https://deskpi.com/products/deskpi-rackmate-accessories-10-inch-2u-rack-mount-for-diy-project-supports-installation-of-t0-t1-t2) (hole spacing is 73mm), but I do not have one to test.

I would like to see a 5V fan header and a slimmer version without the display/picopi, but other than that I have no notes so far. Using DC voltage throughout a minilab is great for both efficiency and wiring simplicity, and this box provides a neat way to get a 5V rail from your primary DC supply voltage.
