Description
I saw your files and they are not compatible with python 3. I will like to make them work with Python 3.5 too. Let me know if you want someone to work on it.

Research direction
The issue does not name specific files or tests; start by reviewing the repository's Python examples and checking which ones fail under Python 3.5. Define the scope before changing anything, and consider the work complete when the agreed examples run on Python 3.5 without breaking their existing behavior.
