Gitpod updates & code space

Gitpod is apparently retiring and invoking a new version of itself in 6 weeks.
Will this impact the ability to render GTN on Gitpod?

I also tried using Codespace yesterday, and whilst it loaded, when I did the make preview, this did not render a page. The text in the terminal LOOKED like it did, no errors, all looked fine, but the link did not work, which is why we're using Gitpod today at the Hackathon.

Start by reproducing `make preview` in GitHub Codespaces and checking whether the generated preview link is reachable. Compare the Codespaces behavior with the existing Gitpod setup; done means documenting or resolving the preview failure and confirming whether Gitpod changes affect rendering.
