Warnings on connection

I've just pip install gcsfs from what I believe to be a somewhat fresh environment. On trying to connect I get a number of warnings that I'm not able to easily understand. Things do seem to work afterwards though.

Start by reproducing the warning from the gcsfs.GCSFileSystem() entry point in a fresh environment, then trace the authentication request to metadata.google.internal shown in the traceback. Determine whether this lookup is expected outside Google Cloud and define completion as handling the expected case without confusing warnings while preserving the working connection.
