Description
I noticed that documentation updates aren't being built automatically, for example the updates to the changelog are in the repo here: https://github.com/fsspec/filesystem_spec/blob/master/docs/source/changelog.rst but not in the latest RTD build here: https://filesystem-spec.readthedocs.io/en/latest/changelog.html
There is a readthedocs.yml in the root of the repo. Potentially the builds are failing or the GitHub integration is broken?

Research direction
Inspect readthedocs.yml and the Read the Docs build or GitHub integration status first. Compare docs/source/changelog.rst with the latest deployed changelog page and identify why automatic builds are not reflecting repository updates. Done means documentation changes build automatically and the changelog page shows the repository content.
