This was a question posed here https://github.com/fsprojects/FSharpPlus/issues/288#issuecomment-625480630
Regarding seq and subsumption: Seems it's also happening with tryFind (foldable) and empty (functor). When used for Map<,>, it's subsumed as seq<KeyValuePair<,>> in both cases.
