Stale `node_modules` is a source of bugs, footguns, headaches. Angular has a bullet in the [readme](https://github.com/angular/angular/blob/master/yarn.lock.readme.md) just for it. Consider sending PRs to large projects to increase adoption, this will also benefit the project.
