Description
Updating Pilot (itself), it says (especially note the last paragraph):
```
Update
Version v0.0.32-pre-alpha is available. You are on v0.0.29-pre-alpha.
Pilot updates itself and restarts the admin service. Your benches keep running.
```
The last phrase gives the impression that the updated Pilot code will run after the update, and that the update occurs with benches continuing to run.
But checking the pilot version in [home] > Pilot > Settings shows the "Pilot Version" still at v0.0.29-pre-alpha after the update reported as successful.
So something is off between the message announcing a restart and the new version, indeed not being run after the update.
(Which might be difficult to accomplish anyway, after all.)
Stopping and restarting pilot starts the newly installed version.
So it was indeed installed.

Research direction
Reproduce the update from v0.0.29-pre-alpha to v0.0.32-pre-alpha and verify the reported Pilot Version in home > Pilot > Settings. Trace the update and restart flow, then confirm that the newly installed version runs immediately after a successful update without manually stopping and restarting Pilot.
