Diagnostic output file

A very useful enhancement would be to create an output file that indicates what the values of all of the properties were as well as the origin of the project ( along with a date + timestamp ).

I am replicating this by creating file that mirrors everything in default.properties with key=$key$, but I am having to manually maintain this file. Also, I can see no easy way to get the datetime of when the project was created using the template. The only thing I can think of is manually providing the time on the command line.
