Description

The commons clause license says (emphasis mine):

> "Sell" means practicing any or all of the rights granted to you under the License to
provide to third parties, for a fee or other consideration (including without limitation
fees for hosting ***or consulting/support services*** related to the Software), ...

To me this reads as: I become knowledgeable and skilled in using the software, then I as a non-originator am not be allowed to be paid to instruct in how to use it, or be contracted to develop a new feature, and so on. Is this the intent?

The rest of the license and commentary at https://commonsclause.com/ seems to be more of an antidote to small-org-or-person builds thing, mega corp uses it for free and puts small-org out of business; yes let's fix that.

I'm totally behind the idea that collectively society needs to establish good mechanisms for people to earn a respectable living writing open or shared or source available software. Setting a rule that only the orginal authors are allowed to generate funds doesn't seem to fit, just keep it proprietary then.
