Description

Author revisions for **Chapter 7 (Discussion)** from the MetaROR reviews (R1).

- [ ] Table 7.1: Unpack and explain more thoroughly — too much information is presented without sufficient context. (R1)
- [ ] Section 7.2: Link interpretation of divergent results explicitly to the operationalisation of replication success and to the deductive/inductive framework. (R1)
- [ ] Section 7.2.1 (Hidden Moderators): Describe more clearly how hidden moderators lead to bias — bias towards what kind of results or study selection? (R1)

**Related existing issues** (whoever takes this owns these too):
- #5 Review success criteria table

**Handled in other issues:**
- Chapter 7 restructuring — merge into Chapter 6 vs subsections 7.1–7.5; split Table 7.1 → *Points for discussion* and *Structural reorganisation & scope*
- Parallel reproduction sections (Defining Reproduction Success, Interpreting Reproduction Failures) → *Content gaps*

Research direction

Start with Chapter 7 (Discussion), especially Table 7.1, Section 7.2, and Section 7.2.1 (Hidden Moderators), then review related issue #5. Done means the table has sufficient explanation, divergent-result interpretation is linked to replication success and the deductive/inductive framework, and hidden-moderator bias is clearly described.
