DevOps Center Pull Changes - Sets operation to REMOVE erroneously

I have noticed that after I remove a single field in a dev environment, when I go to pull the remote changes into DOC, it updates a load of other components (record types, profiles) with REMOVE rather than CHANGE. If the Work Item contains one of these components (ie record type), and we need to include the change, the only way to get the change into the pull request is to add the entire object in question, which then pulls in the correct changes to the record type.

The screenshot below is showing a load of profiles being marked as REMOVE after deleting a field in the developer sandbox environment.
