Retrieving metadata failed - reports and profiles that have a "/"

Unable to retrieve metadata that has a "/" character in the name or file path such as profiles or reports. The error message details say that "Entity of type 'Report' named 'xxxReports%2Fthis_is_a_report_name' cannot be found". In my environment, the report is in a folder called xxxReports.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Edit an existing report in an existing report folder
2. Create a new work item
3. Add a new report to the work item and click the commit button

Expected behavior
DevOps Center should be able to find the report and commit it to the branch.
