Description

"sf data bulk export processing correctly creating and processing steps but failing on exporting in the CI/CD Env with error message: Error (10): fetch failed"

Summary:

- Cannot export any data currently using SF CLI in stable CI/CD environment in use with CLI for multiple other purposes for years
- Same exact context of execution apart from sf cli versions executed properly last year on a nightly basis, successfully retrieving, on a separate org, audit trail records
- Attached bash script and output log
- Can confirm that the execution context and folder have the required accesses to the folder system as it can write files
- The same script works successfully on a desktop / windows context, having different CLI versions
- What needs to be changed in order to successfully execute the sf data export bulk operation under the CI/CD context?
- What options, parameters or screens are available to debug further this very generic error message (10, fetch failed)?

SF CLI version installed salesforce/cli/2.144.6 linux-x64 node-v24.18.0-

Research direction

Start with the attached bash script and output log, reproducing the sf data bulk export on Linux in the stated CI/CD context with Salesforce CLI 2.144.6 and Node 24.18.0. Compare that execution with the successful Windows run and the earlier CLI versions, then use the available CLI debugging options to identify why export fails; done means the export completes successfully in CI/CD.
